Support
Retire Slider, published by Yellow Sun Systems LLC. Last updated 19 August 2026.
Retire Slider is free and has no account, so there is no login to recover and no subscription to manage. Most questions are about what a number means, and the app answers those itself: every figure has an i button, and Model & Tax Rules in the About box sets out exactly what the projection does.
Getting in touch
Email support@yellowsunsystems.com. We aim to reply within five working days.
Our email hosting service processes your address, message, delivery headers and any attachment. We keep correspondence for 24 months after the last reply, or longer if needed for a security incident or a legal obligation. See the Privacy Policy.
Please include the build stamp from the foot of the About box — for
example Build Aug-17-2026 @ 2:26AM. It tells us exactly which
version you are running, which is usually the fastest way to tell a bug from something already
fixed. It is safe to send: it says nothing about you or your figures.
Please do not email us your plan.
Your saved file and your PDF report contain your full financial profile. We do not need either to answer a question, and email is not a good place for them. Describe what you saw instead. If a specific figure looks wrong, the inputs that matter can usually be written in a sentence.
Things worth checking first
- The figures are dim. That means they belong to the assumptions as they were before your last change; the new run is on its way and will replace them in a moment.
- A figure differs between Answers and Results. They are two samples of different sizes: the Answers page solves a ladder against 300 futures, Results uses the simulation count selected in Settings. The Answers figure prints its own margin, and Results is the more precise of the two.
- The plan will not load. File Open only accepts a file this app wrote. A file from another tool, or one that has been edited by hand, is refused rather than half-read.
- Everything reset. Clearing site data, or private browsing, removes the saved plan. File Save keeps a copy that survives that.
- A tax figure looks wrong. Tax is never typed in — it is re-solved every simulated year. Model & Tax Rules shows the rules being applied.
- A Roth conversion made the ending balance go down. That is the arithmetic, not a fault. The tax is paid now, and an ending balance counts a Roth dollar and a pre-tax dollar alike, so it cannot show what the conversion bought. Look at the inheritance figure instead, which is where the benefit lands: your heirs receive money nobody owes tax on rather than an account they must empty, and be taxed on, within ten years. Where both figures move the same way, the answer is not close either way.
- A wizard changed fields I did not expect. That is what a wizard is for — one decision usually lands in several groups at once. Open the scenario's row with the arrow and it lists every field it changed, one line each, so you can see and edit any of them.
What support cannot do
Retire Slider is an educational planning tool, and support is about the tool. We cannot tell you what to do with your money, review your plan, give tax or legal advice, or recommend investments or a claiming strategy. For that, speak to a qualified financial, tax or legal professional. See the Terms of Use.
Reporting a security or privacy issue
Email privacy@yellowsunsystems.com with enough detail to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before publishing. The app does not send your plan inputs off your device, but reports you choose to email are received and read.
